How do I make an exam study timetable

How to make timetable
Hi there,

Revising can be a daunting prospect! It's great that you want to get organised and build a timetable. You have 2 options in how you 'make' it - you could use a digital calendar (like Google) and that way you can update it as you work through and add to-do lists. The second option is make your own (sort of like a poster) and that way when you're in your room you have a visual guide in front of you.

In terms of how to break down the calendar - the first step is to figure out how much time you have to revise - and be realistic with yourself, are you a morning or evening person? How much time do you want to dedicate to it in your school holidays and your weekends? The most important thing is to set yourself a deadline!

Next, break it down into subjects and topics. Your teachers will be able to guide you on what topics they think might be likely to come up in exams.

Lastly, give each slot only 30 minutes, that way you are giving your brain time to absorb the information without it drifting off!
