How is the public transportation system in Bournemouth for students, and is it convenient for getting around the city and to the university?

I'm Will, a Media Production student currently on my placement year.
Bournemouth has a very very good public transport system for students. The main provider is MoreBus who also operate the BU Unibus service which has 5 routes. U1, U2, U3, U4 & U5 - Map here: https://images-unibuses.passenger-website.com/2023-09/BU_network%20map_0923.pdf
While these are the main buses students tend to get as they serve the main student 'areas', the Zone A bus pass allows you access across the whole MoreBus network in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.
Public transport is very much encouraged for students there isn't any parking offered, except in mitigating circumstances, that's why the university has worked hard with Morebus to have this offering and with the help of our Students Union Full-Time Officers, this is constantly improving.

Additionally, Bournemouth Train Station is a direct route into London Waterloo which is great for when you go home for the holidays!
