optical assistant part time

hi,

i got a job interview from an optician as an optical assistant. they are asking me when i want to do an interview. some background on me, i am 18 and i am retaking my a levels, and i applying for my first job. The description said part-time but it says 40 hours per week, i just applied anyway and I don't what to do, as i still need to study for my A levels and can't do full-time work right now, the max i can do is 3 days a week. but I would like to mention, that i also applied to Waitrose and got the job but they did not have any part-time roles, so they put me on a waiting list type thing. should i email the opticans and say i can only work 3 days.
