Hey! I’ve actually accepted a place at York now but BCU was great!
Lovely staff and people, and the interview process was friendly. I just had a written task, presentation and an interview. Try not to stress too much, remember it’s a two way process.

Oh wow, congratulations! Thank you for responding back to me. Mine will be an online interview lasting 4 hours so my nerves are really high. Could you tell me more about your written tasks and interview, any help would be appreciated. It’s really hard gaining information on interviews as every uni is different.

Hi, I’m unsure if it’s different for other subjects but for Secondary History I just had to write a letter. I can’t remember what the letter was about sorry. There was no maths test for me but do remember the interview process could have changed.
I had to do a presentation on what i would teach a class and then had a sit down discussion interview. It’s honestly a very nice experiences and I wouldn’t worry, you’ll be fine! x

Hi kylieee111. I would also be having my interview at BCU for a PGCE Physics course soon. Please can you help me with tips regarding the subject knowledge section of the interview?
