Rate my study plan (A-lvl stem student + psych)

Guys my revision method has changed, it's:

Biology:

make notes using CGP text book

edit the notes using paid notes

lots of PMT qs

Chemistry:

make notes using CGP textbook

edit using chemrevise

make mind maps using allery chem

lots of PMT qs

Psychology:

make notes using illuminate AQA ed 2

edit notes using psych boost

plan 16 markers out

make mind maps on each topic with keywords

I'm also making sure that for each subject i'm making flashcards using ANKI.

I've sorted out a plan and just want to hear from year 13s and uni students if they think this routine will set me for an A* (given that i obviously put in the hard work too):
IF ANY YEAR 12S HAVE ANY ROUTINE THEY THINK IS EFFECTIVE PLEASE LMK TOOO!!!!

Chemistry:
-> Make notes from Allery chem
-> Add onto the notes using chemrevise + AQA chemistry textbook
-> Finish every pmt question after finishing a topic
-> Make flashcards once i'm confident in topic

Biology:
-> Make notes from freesciencelessons
-> Add notes from Miss Estruch (she's not my primary note provider since I don't understand her videos and personally don't feel like she covers EVERYTHING) + AQA biology textbook
-> Finish every pmt questions after finishing a topic
-> Use pre-written notes to turn into flashcards (i found them online and they're a god send, idk how to attach them here tho so i'll post a link https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5062288
-> Make flashcards once I'm confident in topic (using my own notes)

Psychology:
-> Use Psychboost to make my notes (my main sources of notes are utube channels since i concentrate more for sum reason)
-> Use oxford AQA psychology A level book for A03 points
-> Make case study flashcards

^ Idk how to revise for psychology ngl lols

I can try to help. In psychology, look at case studies and apply the knowledge you learn in each topic to the case studies. Imagine you are a therapist. What information do you need to understand and help your patient? What variables have influenced them? What factors are in their environment? What treatments are available? It becomes more than a story. Try not to get upset with some stories you may see. Also, i never studied psychology. I work in healthcare.

btw when i memorise i like to link diff topics together and link it to scenarios in my life or around me

Ok thank you so so much!! I’m actually so so cooked I have 3 weeks until my mocks and I need to cover all y12 content for bio and chem and for psych - memory, attachment and research methods

( I’ve done zero revision all year 🤦*♀️) I also need to get A’s as I want to apply to medicine😬

If you remember any more tips let me know please and again thank you sooo much🤍🤍

SAME position icl, but im so lost for psych since I can't find any good websites with all the content that is needed and my tutor doesn't know what to teach me, nor is my skl teacher any help cuz she only caters towards the boys in our psych class or her GCSE psych students TT

If yk any books/webs that has all the content of psych please let me know
Your plan looks great! Way more detailed than mine 😅

I do psych and bio (also sociology). For all of my subjects I make flashcards a day or two after the lesson (if we learn new content) and I go through my flashcards daily based on spaced repetition (I use anki). If I don't understand a topic (ahem nearly everything in biology) I watch a Ms Estruch video about it then make flashcards from her videos. If I have a topic test for psych or bio coming up then I do all of the topic questions from PMT for the topic the test is on. I don't get topic tests for socio and I've realised I don't do any exam practice for it haha 😓

I'm saving past papers for year 13 because there's stuff in some topics we haven't learnt yet to complete a whole past paper. Also I don't make notes- I just use the booklets my college provide me (which is probably not the best idea 🤯)

physicsandmathstutor should have psychology notes/flashcards/etc depending on what board you do
as someone who's in year 13 getting A*s in psych honestly i'd recommend making an essay for every topic after you learn it, sounds like a whole lot but believe me 16 markers basically summarize everything because u can apply them to any question. also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO PRACTICE ON RESEARCH METHODS PLEAAAAAAAASE do practice papers on RM i messed up paper 2 research methods and i'm so disappointed in myself
