I’ve done my introduction and this would be the sort of introduction to my first paragraph comparing the content of the poems I’m writing about:

Firstly, the poems both present us with a relationship between a father and their adult children. They both show how both parents must accept their seemingly as they both see it inessential roles in their children’s lives. Although still worried for the safety of their child.

Im just wondering is there any way I can make it sound more formal, it is 12.5% of my GCSE after all. (Poems are a cywydd for Kate and student house)
