Is studying an LLB a requirement to become a solicitor, is it fine to study PPL (politics, philosophy and law) at warwick which is a BA and still become a lawyer without taking a GDL? What’s the route to take from there

You don't have to study an LLB but currently (unless doing a Solicitor apprenticeship), if you do not study an LLB you would have to study a GDL before doing the SQE.
