Logarithms and Exponetials Questions

The question is:
ln(2x+1) = ln (x) +2
I've done:
ln(2x+1) = ln^2 +2
2x+1 =e^2 x

but I'm not sure what to do next.

is right, now just rearrange for

x

.

Don't be put off by the

e^2

, it's just a number about 7.389 so it should be a short rearrangement.
