About Postgraduate Funding Options for Humanities & Arts MPhil

Last week, I was thrilled to learn that I was admitted into the MPhil in Film and Screen Studies. Fabulous, indeed.

On my application, I checked every possible funding option that matched my eligibility. Being a humanities and arts overlap, that included the Girton Ruth Whaley Scholarship and the Girton Irene Hallinan Scholarship, options that showed up on my application.

I want to ask if there are more options for international (American) students I may have missed. Sadly, I was not awarded the Gates Cambridge. :bawling:

Please share and and all possible tips and recs you may have. Thank you!

Hi—I got nothing from no one. Cambridge did not award me one penny as financial aid, a grant, or a scholarship, so I accepted another program, which is equally a top choice for me. However, if Cambridge had awarded me a scholarship, I would've attended the MPhil in Film and Screen Studies program.

That's too bad about Cambridge. I got into Film and Screen Studies too and was hoping to connect with a fellow potential mate.

But I'm definitely glad to read that you got into another top choice that perhaps offered you a better package.

Congrats and all the best!
