UCL MSc Finance

Hi, I have been made an offer for UCL's MSc Finance course and I have been wondering since then whether it's worth it or not. I would appreciate it if anyone could share their comments on the matter.

The main reason for this thought process is that I have been reading articles on Quora or other platforms that the UCL Finance department isn't as good as others. Or it has unnecessarily included maths in all the subjects which is not necessary. Or it doesn't publish its career reports due to its poor placement record. I am from India and it would take a lot of time and money on my part to study there, so will I be able to land a job there considering London's recession?

Please share your comments.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend UCL MSc finance or any program from the School of Management.

Honestly, the program is chaotic and poorly managed, the curriculum feels unorganized and disjointed, with subjects lacking practical relevance to the industry. Another major weakness lies in the ineffective career department, which offers minimal and often generic support, failing to justify the program's substantial tuition. Ultimately, the high financial cost for this master's degree is considerable low return on investment. “I’m an alumni”
