Is pharmacy an enjoyable degree?

Hi, I’m in year 13 and applied for pharmacy just before christmas of 2023. I applied to Newcastle, manchester, huddersfield, wolverhampton and sunderland.

I was just wondering if pharmacy is actually an enjoyable degree. I’m wondering less about the outcome, and more about if students actually enjoy learning about pharmacy? I’ve heard Mpharm students typically do 9-5s daily and you have a lot of contact hours in uni? Doesn’t sound like there’s a lot of free time or enjoyment outside of school with friends. I don’t want to be that student that is constantly experiencing fomo because my friends on other courses have more free time with a more enjoyable experience.
I do want to become a pharmacist and hold a pharmacy degree, but I also actually want to be able to enjoy my uni experience with my last few years in education.

Let me know what you think!
