AS Organic Chem Question

Which alcohol forms a mixture of alkenes when dehydrated?
A 2-methylpropan-1-ol
B propan-2-ol
C butan-1-ol
D butan-2-ol

The answer is D but can someone please explain why and also why it would not be any of the other options? Thanks!

D is an unsymmetrical secondary alcohol. Think about the different structures of the alkenes and the different groups attached to each end of the double bond.
