year 12 study journal!

I've been seeing a lot of these and since it's 2024 now I felt inspired to make my own - I'm starting this in hopes of procrastinating less and just to track all of my revision!

What I currently study:
Maths, Chemistry, Psychology and Japanese

Right now I am struggling with Maths and Chemistry (as I expected😭) but am hoping to improve these next few months.

Goals for this year:
- Study AT LEASSSTT two weeks before a test
- Be consistent with flashcards + notes
- Review everything I learned in class on the same day!!!!

forgot to update yesterday oops but did:

psychology homework (1 hour)

chemistry: reviewed alkanes anki (1 hour)

did some topic questions on alkanes (1 hour)

i have a chem test on alkanes alkenes and alcohols next week so hoping to get more prepared for that these next few days!

today
honestly did not have time to do much because it was my last day of work experience, but going to do anki before i sleep

tomorrow's plan:

review alkenes anki

alkenes topic questions

go through mechanics chap 10

finish my organic chem presentation

work on my physical chem practical write up

it actually has nothing to do with organic chem 😅 it's just an extra thing my teacher wanted us to do

personally i used to use quizlet esp for my gcses, but i just didn't find them as effective, so i tried out anki and i loveee it. Mostly because it has a spaced repetition algorithm which helps me to review things i'm less confident in! but ofc everyone is different so other methods or platforms might work better!
