has anyone got any essay tips for this spec? i’ve had teachers/tutors tell me different things, and im unsure. for example, with paper 1 and 2 essays, do i need to take a broad approach to a theme and try to cover a lot of aspects, or do i have a narrow argument and stick to that throughout? also has anyone got any essays that they have done for this spec?

eg. say the question is “explore how characters respond to difficult circumstances”. would it be best if i did a paragraph on society/class, a paragraph on gender, and a paragraph on redemption, for instance (basically covering a broad range of ideas), or would you take one of them paragraphs and use that as your argument, and base all your paragraphs around that?
