Advise to pursue a career in law in canada with a UK LLB

I'm a Sri Lankan student studying the University of London's LLB degree while in Sri Lanka. After completing the degree, I wish to practice in Canada.
I wanted advice on what the bar administration process is like with a foreign degree, and would the method of study I followed affect the process? (considering that the UOL law program is considered a online program) and whether it is possible to get an internship at a Canadian law firm while I get licenced.
