Will Dropping Senior Thesis Lead to LSE Rescinding MSc Offer

I am an American student who recently accepted an offer for the MSc in International Relations at LSE next year. The offer was only conditional upon a 3.4/4.0 GPA which I will easily maintain. However, at the time of applying, I was in the midst of writing my senior thesis which was reflected in my transcript and personal statement. I am now considering dropping my senior thesis course, and while this would not impact my graduation this semester or my GPA, I am unsure if this will impact my offer at LSE. I greatly appreciate any help provided.

If your offer is conditional only on the award of your degree and a specific GPA then no, it shouldn’t have any impact.

However, I would contact the uni to get something in writing before dropping anything.
