MSc Mathematical and Computational Finance 2024 - Waitlist

My application status was recently changed to Waitlist for MSc Mathematical and Computational Finance, so I have made this forum for discussions surrounding this.

I am curious about other people on the waitlist, and if anyone has any further information regarding the waitlist and/or number of original offers made/rejected.

I have been informed that they currently have around 50 on the waitlist, but that they do not rank these and so can't release information on relative weightings (which I'm not sure if I believe). Further, they have said the timeline is unknown for any any confirmation of when one will receive good or bad news. Candidates are kept on the waitlist until late August, with any news before then being subject to actions from current offer holders.
