CAS (UAL)

I applied for a MA at UAL and I got a conditional offer. The course starts in September.
After that I uploaded both required documents and I‘m waiting for a response now.
How do I know they are processing my application or that the documents are accepted?
Because I need the CAS to apply for a Visa since I‘m not from the UK.
Honestly this is stressing me out, please help me if you have more information!
If the portal shows the documents uploaded they will be in a queue for processing. It's not unusual for this to take a couple of weeks if not more. Youll get an email when this is done.

Most unis have not started their CAS process for September intakes yet.

Hi, from what I know, CAS is given only around 3 months before the course starts - so June
I'm sure your documents will be processed before that. You can now just relax, and follow any other steps the uni mails to you

Thanks! Does it show on the portal when they‘re accepted or rejected?

Every uni portal is different, but yes, most will update if something has been accepted or to prompt you if something else is needed.

Our Admissions colleagues are working as quickly as possible to issue CAS statements.

Please log into your UAL Portal and check all of the following:

You have firmly accepted your offer

You have uploaded your academic offer conditions

You have uploaded an English language certificate or evidence you meet an exemption against the English language document request.

The passport you will make your visa application with

You have paid your deposit

Regularly check your UAL Portal for document requests or details of documents which have not been accepted. If applicable, you’ll see a document upload button which may also include instructions on what you need to provide.

We aim to issue your CAS within 14 working days of your offer being confirmed as Unconditional Firm in your UAL Portal.

You mustn’t make any arrangements to travel to the UK until you’ve received your CAS statement. We can’t guarantee the exact date your CAS statement will be issued.

In the meantime, you can read more about getting a CAS on our student visa guidance webpage.

Thank you for your patience. We won’t keep you waiting any longer than necessary.

Hi, what about students holding a deferred admission from last year? I deferred my admission to 2024-2025 and have already firmly accepted my unconditional offer, uploaded my English language certificate, and passport, and paid my deposit last year in 2023. Do we need to upload it again? But I haven't received any requests to do so on the portal. Kindly assist with the same please!
