What do you think the paper will be like for this year? Last year the papers were a bit easy but the grade boundaries were sky high. Hopefully we’ll have lower ones this year 🤞🏼

i find the past papers hard icl but yes the previous year papers are harder than 2023 stats and mechanis is anither story have u started revisin stasts abd mechanixs😭

yh i got the same. btw to save some time u dont even have to do u substitution. just make the power ^-2 and use reverse chain rule.

I feel like imma do terrible paper 1 but clutch up on paper 2 and 3. Stats and mechanics are so much easier then pure imo

I need to do good on paper 1 and paper 3 bcs ik im going to absolutely flop paper 2 😭
I understand the content for mechanics but absolutely suck at answering the questions - do u have any tips and what grade are u aiming for?

I thought overall was good some one markets were hard. Anyone be getting like 662 for the trapezium volume and like 12 for k and 59mins for last QS time to halves.

Just as an observation, you don't even need to evaluate the integral. If you put x = ky (or y = x/k), the limits become 1 and 2, dx becomes kdy and the denominator of the fraction looks like k^2 x something. So the whole integral (whatever it evaluates to) will look like (some number) x k / k^2 i.e. (some number) / k i.e. inversely proportional to k.
