LLM at Cambridge?

Hi all!

I was just wondering if there was anyone out there currently doing a Cambridge LLM, and if so:

i) what do you think of it? Is what you're learning interesting?
ii) how did you come to do it (ie what circumstances led you to apply for the LLM)? What was the interview like?

Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of applying in two year's time. I'm currently on the GDL, doing the LPC next year, and subject to my getting a training contract for 2011 (yeah :rolleyes:

) I would want the option of specializing in the intervening year. I'm at the CoL which gives you an LLB after completing both years, and I have an average 2.1 degree in German & History from KCL. Am not asking about my chances - I know Cambridge requires a first from your first degree, but I'm obviously hoping I can prove I'm good by ace-ing my GDL/LPC - but merely giving background info.

Any general thoughts, tips, experiences would be really appreciated! :smile:
