economics at glasgow uni

hi, i have applied and got accepted to glasgow uni for economics but im not sure is glasgow is good for economics, i dont have a lot of knowledge on economics, i was planning to do finance in aberdeen but when glasgow accepted me, u can not reject !!! so what do u lot think ? good 4 it or not ? im an english(well turkish but born n feed englishmen :woo:

Adam Smith practically invented Economics while there, so I'd say its pretty decent. It's no LSE or Oxbridge for it, but I'd say that beyond that, theres the next grouping of 15 or so universities which are all excellent for it, and Glasgow's one of them. Its classed as an MA, so theres less compulsory maths than a BSc in Economics, but the option to do more maths is there if you want to do it.
