Wrong, Russia got their arse kicked....

At first they did, then they kicked Germany back. I didn't realise you wanted me to mention every little detail thus giving you an essay. It was a TL;DR version.

I reckon girls are simply less likely to be interested in politics than men. My A-Level politics class was 100% men, for instance.

The large majority of girls?

World population estimate (2009): 6,775,235,741.47

= approximately 3,387,617,870.74 females ("girls", if you will).

You've met and intellectually judged the majority of 3,387,617,870.74 girls?!

It's okay to extropolate data. Hey, you may think size 10-12 is normal but only because it was extrapolated from data much smaller than 3.4 billion. It's done everyday so you don't need to get your knickers in twist because someone is attempting to do it in a situation you don't like. I'm not actually agreeing with the OP but I really hate it when people use arguments like yours.

Look at the death tolls, it's obvious.
Germany's total military death toll was around half of that of Russias...
Russia didn't kick Germany's arse in any way, unless you count a 1 v 5 fight, with that one person beating 4/5, an arse whooping.

Well with my controlled survey of all the girls i have met, I would say ~ 75% have no general knowledge so going by that, 75% of British girls are oblivious to the real world. As for foreign girls, I have not met enough to form a solid opinion, but so far they seem much better.

I can see your reasoning, but your theory doesn't really work. You can't assume that the sample of girls that you've come into contact with in your small area of Britain are representative of all other girls in the UK. You've gotta take a whole load of things into consideration; age, environment (physical and behavioural), educational background, not to mention the method you're using to measure intelligence, and what aspects of intelligence.

I apologise, I think you misunderstood my definition of 'arse kicking'.
Russia are pretty much why we won the war.

(America helped too. A bit.)

(a generalisation of course)

After talking to many people over the last few months, it has become very apparent that girls have almost zero general knowledge. They can tell you what is going on in their course or the X factor, but ask them where Germany is or what WW2 was about and they have no idea. I was reminded of this when a girl on TSR who was 20 had no idea what 9/11 was all about, even though it will be one of the most important historical events during her life.
What excuse do you have for this ignorance when you live in an age of instant communication and access to huge amounts of data all for free?

Yet for some reason guys tend to be better with general knowledge, from geography, politics, and history, for some reason we know far more, yet if you ask a person why they know this they can not explain why. I put it down to simply being more inquisitive.

Do other people find this to be the same with girls they meet, or guys?
Do you girls with general knowledge find these girls do not help with fighting stereotypes such as the stupid blonde etc?

What ridiculous generalizations to make. I don't have an excuse for this behaviour because I don't relate to any sort of ignorance you just mentioned.

Pointless, silly thread.

They won, they didn't kick anyone's arse though.
I lived in Germany and according to you can't even tell you where it is. FML.

By kick arse I meant won.

Sorry for the confusion.

To kick someone's arse usually means to win impressively or very effectively, Russia did neither.
It doesn't just mean they won.
You should stop trying to pull 12-14 year old girls from the estate OP.
Thanks really appreciated........................ T*AT!!!

I know where germany is, what ww2 was about and probably more than the girls you talked to because I like to know these things

I guess studious girls are the ones who know more about WW2 and where Germany is...
BTW I know what the ww2 was about >_>

Well seeing that I have met girls from almost everywhere in the UK, ranging from college drop outs to girls at Cambridge, and from a whole variety of ages, I would confidently say that my sample is reasonable and fair.

Well you may know what it was about but clearly your ability to read is lacking as you missed the bottom 2 lines..........

This might be because girls often spend hours chatting to each other about their social circles, fashion, cooking, favourite celebrities, etc. as opposed to guys who have a tendency to talk to each other about other things such as sports, cars, technology, and politics.

Guys and girls are bound to have a disparity in general knowledge about certain topics because of the way they socialise.
