What is carbon fixation? What does it produce? Does it produce GP?

yeah, its basically the Light Independant reactions of photosynthesis or Calvin cycle. RuBP combines with CO2 to form GP and then GP reduced to to GALP by naDPh2 and ATP is all part of carbon fixation!

carbon fixation occurs in the calvin cycle, Rubp and CO2 are catalysed by the enzme Rubisco producing 2GP

CH5? Mines Chemistry by Design.. I see your doing medicine, nice! So I'm guessing you need 3A's?

I need AAAC (chem, math, german, bio) for imperial and A*AA (chem, maths, bio) for cambridge.

Ribulos Bisphospate is a 5C compound when carvon fixation happens with enzyme using Rubisco and the new 6C people is unstable and break into 2 3C called gylcerate phosphate (GP)

what does selective pressure mean?

A pressure put on organisms by the environment, either biotic or abiotic factors which lead to the most well adapted organisms to that specific environment to survive most effectively and pass on their alleles, all via the process of natural selection.

Isn't it glorious!?
kinda scared now...

im awake but duno if its best to revise as an all nighter/till im tired
