No, I think you'll still need one, as it gives you the information for registering for your classes online and getting your student email account. Perhaps call them and ask. But I think if you haven't received the 'your welcome pack is on the way' letter yet, then it'll probably come through soon since clearing is almost over now.

When I changed my student finance, I changed it online (didn't send a letter in post) and it took 3 days for them to accept it again. I didn't get a notification saying it changed though, I just happened to check it and see that it updated.

I got told that you can only change it online if you have already started a course/uni and change uni/course after you have started. Dunno...

I will give the uni and student finance until say, thursday and then give em a call if I dont get anything.

Got the welcome letter from Salford

On the registering part and it was asking about how I am going to pay. So I put through Student Loans, and then it was asking "have you registered with them bla bla". Obviously I have but they have estimated maintenance/grants for my firm choice, hence why I sent them a Change of Circumstances letter. Should I wait until Student Finance reply or just continue with the registration?

You should be able to do it before they've confirmed your change of circumstances.

Log online into your student finance account, and find the 'correspondence' section. It'll show all the letters they've sent you. You need to find the number Salford Uni asks for - it took me AGES to find it, but it's a small, unmarked number on the top.. Left if I remember, just under the barcode. Enter that in, and that's all you need to do! It doesn't change after the change of circumstances thing, so you're all good.
