A bit) That why there is a 2/5 chance I'll go to Scotland for a refreshing breeze:smile:(IF we eliminate the 5 rejections chance...:s-smilie:)

I'm 4/5 chance to stay in scotland, assuming I'm equally likely to get into Oxford as I am into Dundee. (lol)

I may as well take advantage of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Salmond while I stil can.

i have quite a traditionalist streak

pity I don't practise what I preach :colonhash:

Yes, and although there is a lot of emotivism and so on surrounding the issue, ultimately I believe that abortion is murder.

that said, i know many people who have had abortions and many feel they have no choice, and I believe if we as a society were prepared to support young mothers instead of judging them and writing single mothers off as benefit scroungers and so on there would be far fewer abortions :colonhash:

ah ok, cool

guys I'm sorry for my poor typing and if what I'm writing seems incoherent I haven't slept in 40 hours so tell me to shut up if you feel it's appropriate

Especially the if A then B type CT questions... there are always two that are very similar, but I've learned just to go with my first guess.

Some of the CT questions are so easy that sometimes I wonder if it's a trick, and it turns out not to be... :frown:

I know where you're coming from. Sometimes I think it's too simple too, but it's often not. I suppose the benefit of a potentially tight exam is that there's little or no time to check (and possibly change) your answers.

40 hrs?! Are you all right?! I find that my eyes start rolling into my head unconsciously if I don't sleep once per 30 hours.

:dontknow: noise pollution and stress are starting to take their toll I suppose

Yes. Except a lot of people have been saying it's really difficult to get it done on time, but I don't share that sentiment at all... :K: Well, I am normally a fast test-taker (and have been berated for it!), but I'm usually done with at least 5 minutes to spare. Probably should pace myself better. What's your TSA score like? I'm depressingly average. :frown:

That sounds so awesome  I want tea with cookies! Or at least a college cat...

Apparently St John's JCR is nothing spectacular? I don't know, but the grounds are soooooooooo pretty and the tutors are awesome (why yes, I have stalked them and I do know all the names and faces of my hopefully future tutors).

one of the psychology tutors is really good-looking

:hmmmm2: Yet do you eat meat? Because surely killing a sentient cow is worse than killing an unborn squidge without a properly developed brain.

Of course, if you're vegetarian this argument falls to pieces.

Hey, I applied for E&M at Balliol on 11th October. I'm scared about how fast everything's moving, but excited too, haha. My emotions are scrambled.

Wooo Balliol! did you look round on the open day? I went to other college's and only read about Balliol after and then decided to apply there :P

I have only done one and I had twenty minutes to spare. God knows how that happened. Althoough I was at 90%+ for the first 25qs and ended up on 74%, so I guess I rushed it/lost focus towards the end. So my score hasn't been great on a first attempt. Hopefully some more practice will see it improve.
