Medical Science 2013/2014

Where have you applied for Medical science and which offers have you gotten?

I have applied to:
Oxford Brookes [Medical Science] (Offer & Insurance)
Queen Mary, University of London [Medical Genetics] (Offer - Declined)
Westminster [Human & Medical Science] (Offer - Declined)

I've also gotten an offer for Southampton BM6 Medicine and that's my Firm!

I also applied to foundation medicine at southampton, but I got rejected pre-interview. :frown:

I got offers from Sheffield university and queen Mary to study biomedical science. But I don't want to, I want to reapply...

I think you should! many people are so much more successful the 2nd time round :smile:

I have a year's cotract as a healthcare assistant at a nursing home - i'm now 7 months in.
Also did a week at my local hospital - observed a few operations, shadowed a doctor, was cool!
i'm also my mother's personal carer - lifetime experience i guess
also did 2 weeks in a nursing home for year 10 work experience.

if you're applying for BM6 though i dont think you need work experience from what i remember, you only need to demonstrate that you'd have a commitment to the career (but obviously work experience is a good way to show that)
