Nakedness and changing rooms...

Why do people have an issue with people who change in the open? Men AND woman. I'm a male, and I have no problem with the naked body. I just read a thread about a woman complaining about people not using cubicles, it's outrageous. There's no rules/laws or even an etiquette, as long as you stay respectful there's no problem...

I always have a laugh at the guys tripping over their towl/own legs/boxers just to try and hide something every other guy has, curling up into an uncomfortable ball in the corner, ha. Like I said, each to their own, some people are more confident than others. But to complain about it, pffft....

What do you guys think? If there's cubicles SHOULD we make use of them?

EDIT - For anyone who is interested in naturalism, I'd suggest/recommend Rio's fitness spa in Kentish Town (London).

What has "not using lockers" got to do with nudity in changing rooms

Did you mean cubicles?

Corrected, thanks.
Lockers and cubicles aren't the same thing OP.

EDIT: I see that's already been pointed out.

Well, some people don't want to see other people naked. I personally think you should use cubicles, because there're kids who go to public pools etc and they shouldn't have to see naked adults.

Not every dude wants to flap his bits for everyone to see I suppose.

There must be a limit. Being naked doesn't mean striding about with your dangly bits flopping in people's faces. You can be naked and not cover-up without being showy with it. Laughing at people who are uncomfortable doesn't make them less uncomfortable, it's just spite.

LOL, pretty much this tbh.

For everyone to see, you think people do it for everyone to see. It's quicker and more convenient, that's why people do it, not to show other men their penises.
I don't want to see naked men nor expose myself in that way so I'd only use a cubicle. What's the problem? I think it's shameless - that's my opinion - but I'm not forcing anyone else to use cubicles nor agree with my views.

You would be surprised how many people do it to show off their cock.

There's no problem, I'm referring to those who DO use cubicles who despise of those that don't. You're also the second guy to mention not wanting to see other naked males, it's a changing room, why would you even be looking at men? No one said you have to see them? But you watch porn though don't you....

It depends what kind of floppy mood my penis is in...if in a warm pub while drinking he is a good floppy size, if just coming from the cold swimming pool with having done a gym session before the little fella has minimal blood and frizzles up.......generally I don't get changed in the middle of a pub, but I do in the other situation...I normally get around this by having a quick rinse off in the shower with warm water and have a little play to try and get some life back in him and then get changed like a normal human.

Does all you guys willy frizzle up when doing exercise? I generally find part of my warm-up for exercise is cooling down my willy and balls to tighten them up so they don't jingle jangle everywhere.

I hope that has explained it for all.

We weren't allowed to shower after swimming. I have never understood why.

So you don't notice your surroundings? If that's the case we should have mixed open changing rooms. Include children too. Why not? We're there to get changed

Guess there is certain guys who try to show off. My penis is horrendously small when flaccid, but it's nearly 7.2 inches when erect, which is a wonderful thing. Grower, not shower is the saying...

So if guys aren't getting naked because of their penis, who cares?

I think it's very wrong how shameful (and always sexual?) nakedness is made out to be. What's the harm in children seeing naked adults providing the context is completely non-sexual?

Maybe if "normal" (eg: not grossly sexualised or distorted) nakedness were more out in the open, people (especially adolescents) would be less uncertain, embarassed and confused about their bodies - and maybe we'd all be less sexualised too.

I've seen naked people in communal changing areas many times. None have ever "flopped their dangly bits" in mine or anyone else's face. It's the person who turns away red-faced, shrieks, or shields their child's eyes that is causing an unnecessary scene and sending out all the wrong messages.

Fair enough if people want to maintain their own privacy, but it's just plain sad to be scandalised by the simple fact we're all just flesh and bits in the end, however we try to hide it.

Some are growers, some are showers. If you have to make it to a semi-erect state to achieve what you would consider a good flacid size, then you are a grower.
Changes depending on a lot of factors generally.

To point out that flaccid size is pointless and you shouldn't ne worried about it...
