Core 2 Integration (Trapezium Rule) qUESTION

Hi! I'm currently revising trapezium rule and I still can't get my head around calculating the areas under a curve using trap rule for certain ''strips''.
How am I supposed to know what the strips are if my limits are, say x = 0 and x = 1? Thanks a lot in advance!

The question will surely tell you what width to use?

If you want 2 strips then your ordinates will be x = 0, x = 0.5 and x = 1.

If you want 5 strips then you need x = 0, x =0.2, x = 0.4, x = 0.6, x = 0.8, x = 1 and so on.
