Does anyone have any tips on getting a good ukcat score?

Practice a lot.

Use guides like Kaplan's or the 600Q and try to complete tests in one sitting, rather than doing one section at a time. In VR, don't read the whole passage, read the question than scan for keywords. QR, learn the basic formulas like percentage change, speed=time/distance, etc. AR, familiarise youself with the patterns: shape, colour, size, etc. There's really no other way with that unless you're quite good at that section. DA, write the sentence out, with commas and brackets, and eliminate the options.
