low gcse but As and A* in alevels

for alevels i do biology, chemistry and psychology ive been getting AAA
consistently and i do believe ill be getting As and A* in the real thing
only problem is my gcse
english language resit 8
english lit 7
maths resit 5
science 5-5
psychology 5
spanish 3
re 6
drama 4
during my gcse i was really going through it and just wasnt focused which i regret so has my gcse really affected me to go to atleast decent unis
I've done work experience and volunteering ive done extra curriculem activities and my ukcat score was good
so my question is if i meet the requirements to do medicine in a uni would my gcse grades affect it still or would it not matter like if my ukcat was good and my alevels grades but just the other i didnt do well please someone help

cause ik high unis like cambridge or oxford or birmingham they seem to want high gcse
Do those unis have GCSE requirements? I don't know for certain but most unis seem to focus on A level grades, moreover you have other things for medicine like work experience and ukcat and interviews so gcses hopefully won't take such a large part?
If you're uncertain ask a teacher, as always. Mine's just speculation
