Novak is a sweetheart. How can you not love him.

Still, he's ranked no4, was in the Wimbledon final, and still enjoys playing tennis. Why should he "call it a day"?

And he only picked up £880,000 :colondollar:
Federer loses in 5 sets and all the hate comes out saying he should call it a day. Lol. What? Didn't see anyone saying this 4 hours ago.

Am sorry but hes still at 17:wink:

Still better than Nadal.
Can't believe the winner of the ladies singles yesterday is earning double(?) what Roger gets for the tourney. Ridiculous.

Do you want to see him perpetually losing to scrubs? He's never going to win another slams and highly unlikely to reach another final. 1/2 final player in my book now.

And bringing in a fraction of television viewers that today's final did, which should be the most important factor really
Got to think that was possibly Federer's last chance at a slam.

Tremendous final - I thought that Djokovic had blown it in the 4th set after handing it to Federer but that was brilliant mental resilience to hold it together in the 5th.

Yep. The argument doesn't lessen every year, either.

Need to milk it after this classic.
Haha useless federer.

Now it gives Nadal more of a chance to surpass your GS total.

NADAL GOAT

+sponsors, corporate ticketing etc. The women players are being very heavily subsidised by the men, forget the figure but McKinsey did a study on it a while back and it was scandalous. Women tennis players would not be particularly well paid if they held their own separate tournament...

Still Nadal will add and catch up roger missed his biggest chance to add to his collection:wink:
Djokovic now has the confidence to push on and win more slams! Back to no. 1 and to his best!!

7-5-4-1 vs 9-2-2-1

And Nadal is better for dominating just 1 major and 1 surface whereas Federer has dominated at 3 majors. And Nadal won't be playing at Federer's age. And nole is back so don't expect Nadal to win anything but the RG.

Right now I WOULD chose Novaks years as the best of 2014 but if Nadal wins US open hes the best of 2014 so who ever wins US OPen from nole or Rafa is the best of 2014. Can Nole win USO?
Nadal will surely overtake him
