You expect two attacking mids to improve your defence? interdasting

We're losing posession in the midfield. These plays will be able to maintain said posession whilst also providing oppurtunities.

Sturridge is appalling. Has he touched the ball this half?

Is this the man who is gonna lead our strikeforce through thick and thin?

I doubt he will score until November.

What were you saying?
SaS - Sterling and Sturridge

You've got 2/3 people into a defence, it's not going to gel straight away!

That formation change completely changed it. Southampton should have been leading by now though.

Midfield has not been good enough. Too many gaps.

I agree but that doesn't mean the reason for its improvement will be attacking mids

They don't strike me as possession-retaining players. They're more likely to create more opportunities but also lose possession more than safer players eg Allen, thus weakening your defence

You're right mate nothing compares to the Emirates.

Both just as bad 90% of the time.

Dreadful atmosphere today at Anfield, absolutely dreadful.

Although AFAIK, there is not a single match-going LFC on this thread so no offence to anyone here I guess!

Yeah. I mean Jones, Toure, Lambert, Sakho, Can, Allen, Ibe

We at least had Januzaj and Kagawa

This is arguably their strongest XI bar Moreno, Can and possibly Sakho as well. Having the likes of Lucas and Johnson on the bench won't make much difference. For all the talk about United's poor squad, when everybody is fit I don't think there is much difference between United and Liverpool. If Woody actually pulls his finger out and signs us a couple of players, we'll be comfortably ahead.

None of Liverpool, Arsenal and United have been particularly convincing this weekend, the difference is that the first two have been able to grind out the win without playing well. They have a winning mentality at home, we don't anymore. The quicker that gets fixed the better.
Thank God. Holy ****.
