I've actually lived in the UK since I was 3 but I moved to Sri Lanka from 2011-2013 for my GCSE's and lived in colombo! :smile:

Spicy! Tbh though I mainly ate western food whilst I was here but if ever I ate anything traditional it was guaranteed to be hot!

Hmmm I feel like living in colombo was a little more glamourous than living in the UK, there are so many nice hotels, restaurants and things to do and everything is so close by, I found myself going out much more than I ever did in the UK and also my parents were so much less strict in Sri Lanka (Idk why!) so I experienced a lot more freedom which was great! Although in Sri Lanka the shopping is terrible in comparison to england, the variety of retail stores is limited and i find that their items are almost always overpriced (Yes...Im talking about ODEL)
