Just when I've read everything, this happens with a 2 year old finding a hand gun in his Mother's handbag and accidentally shooting her dead.

That's so sad.
Unbelievably devastating. It's quite hard to process that a 2 year old was actually able to shoot dead his mother. Just terrible - and that boy is going to have to grow up with that burden on him for the rest of his life.

Another case in a long line of others showing why gun control is needed in America. A 2 year old should never have been able to touch a real gun, let alone pull the trigger.
Poor kid. He's gonna have to deal with that guilt for the rest of his life.

Damn American and their willy nilly use of guns.
Stupid ****ing America.
People should NOT be allowed guns.

It is poor gun safetly on the part of the parents.
Leaving a gun around for a child to pick up is silly however.

Yeah let's take away the right of all the dozens of millions of responsible gun owners because this one woman was too stupid to carry her weapon on her person and keep the safety on. Great idea that.

I know.

Imagine growing up and being told that you killed your own mother. :frown:
You know how they'll try and solve it...same as they always do, with more guns.

School shootings?

Which will surely stop once the shooters have an even better guarantee that they will not meet any armed resistance till the police show up 15 minutes later...

Right? Right???

It's far FAR from just an isolated incident.

Out of all the school shootings that have happened, I don't think any of the shooters had any armed resistance until the police showed up anyway.

So instead of banning guns, do you think the teachers should be armed instead?

Because they carried out their massacres in gun free zones, cheers for proving my point. Plenty of shootings/acts of violence are stopped by legal concealed carry holders in America, you just won't hear about them in the news specifically because no innocent people died, so it isn't a worthy news story

Considering the 300 million+ guns in America, and the amount of those guns which discharge and accidentally kill someone each year (hint:it's not very many), an isolated incident is exactly what they are.

If guns were banned it would be difficult for gun attacks to happen.

Yeah because once guns are banned, all of America's criminals will rush to hand their firearms in peacefully

It's 3am, you're tired
