Surplus may fall as more people have availability to credit easier, they may spend it on imports thus surplus falls.

Same :/ I thought 118 to 82 meant that it was getting weaker but thinking about it now it makes sense that it's infact getting stronger

Anyone notice there wasn't any definition questions?

Overall an okay paper but it really required you to pay close attention to detail both in the wording of the Q and the info from the case study

I talked about a low interest rates is unattractive for currency investors which means that the currency will depreciate which leads to exports becoming more competitive and therefore means that current account surplus would be greater, however low interest rates also stimulates consumption which means that the population could buy imports which lowers the current account surplus
