Do you guys think they'll repeat the 15 markers? I couldn't do one if they asked a completely new one. Are there any that haven't been asked that could be this year?

They could do, but because the spec is quite old now they're bound to repeat questions or at the very least the structure of them

I'm literally just reading everything over and over again. There's still bits which I don't really know, I'm hoping that I can learn them in just under 48 hours :colondollar:

Do you have any examples of questions that haven't come up before but could do?

State that it can be in a very limited sense as all strands believe that nations is the sole legitimate unit of political rule and so the nation is therefore the key to political organisation. The differences are much easier to describe, talk about the differences between cultural and political nationalism as well as between liberal, conservative, expansionist and post colonial. You could then argue about how some ideologies are forward/backward looking/peaceful/aggressive and sat that the shared features within certain strands indicate that there are some similarities within nationalism.

Agreements - all women are oppressed, all women should seek emancipation

Disagreements - reformist (liberal) vs revolutionary (social/radical), difference vs egalitarian feminism, disagreements on whether patriarchy originates in the private or public sphere, whether class, sexual or legal revolution is most important within society

Are they past paper questions?

Dunno but they're in my booklet of ones that could come up
Guys do you think its pretty much a sure thing that liberalism will come up as a 45 marker on tuesday?
Also people who take 4B, how likely would you say feminism is to come up as a 45 marker?

Can never be too sure, but it looks likely.

That's a shame, would very much like a feminism 45 marker. I hope for a nice nationalism one in its place instead. :holmes:

Feminism has come up every time apart from Jan 2012 afaik. Make of that what you will

They tend to ask about the link between an idea and an ideology, like liberalism and rationalism, conservatism and tradition or anarchism and individualism. They could ask about a particular strand of an ideology or why something is crucial to an ideology as well.

Same, or multiculturalism, it really isn't that bad

That's Equality of opportunity, and the quote is most attributed to TH Green, the socialist liberal who wanted altruism and positive freedom, but also wished to preserve the interest of individuals

Also John Rawls advocated a similar thing

Do you know what the 2 15 markers may be in this years paper for unit 4? Because for unit 3 it's gonna be socialism
I've given up hope on getting a decent grade for this exam, I've tried my 100% best I can't do any better revision that I'm doing now yet I have a gut feeling that I'm going to fail really badly because I feel that I don't know enough.

I hope none of you guys are feeling this way, it's really *****y.
