registration for A - levels as an independent candidate

Do I need to register for A-levels as an independent candidate? I am not sure about the UK process and would really welcome any advice. I plan to complete two A levels in one year.

What area do you live in? London? Kent? Manchester?

You have to find a centre wiling to accept you. They can make entries with the exam board between mid November and 21 February - though the final deadline they set for accepting candidates is likely to be a fair bit earlier. I advise you to start trying to find a centre in October and try to get it sorted by Christmas.

Bromley Tutorial Foundation, register with them for examinations (they do them all) and they'll register you for exams etc for you, it just isn't cheap. 5 GCSEs cost me almost £1000.
I'm doing A-Level Maths with them in 2017 series.
