Twice a week max. I like the odd drink, hate getting drunk, fun at the time but Not worth it the morning after. Done it once and never again.

Why? Because I like the taste and the mild effect of alcohol. Oh and if it reduces the risk of cardiac arrest (red wine) why wouldn't you.

Oh and by the way, drinkers on average live two years longer than those who are teetotal!

Only when I'm not sleeping.

Jk I hardly drink alcohol(only 16). Also don't go to much parties and stuff where I would most likely drink.

So how many TSRians drink?
I myself dont and never intend to, dont see the point.

If you do: State why
If you dont State why

I dont because i just dont see the appeal of getting drunk, doing things i then regret and then having a hangover.
Plus it tastes horrible :yucky:

Your turn

You can drink alcohol and not get drunk.

I only started drinking at the start of university last year. It had never really appealed to me, still doesn't, but given what university culture is like I decided to give it a shot. Since it was my first time, I had a lot of experimenting to do (quantity, types etc). All-in-all, not a bad experience; I never wound up completely hammered, but sometimes I didn't know my limit.

I haven't gone out as much this year, so I've drank far less. That, plus I'm on medication, and over first year I discovered it didn't do too great with my depression. I'll still drink, usually about two or three ciders, but that's about it.
I drink 1-4 times per week, I think I'm actually dead at the moment.

I drink only during social occasions, though.

It's hard to describe. I bought a cheap Co-Op's own brand one once and it burned my lips and just tasted and smelled of paint thinner. It was so bad  The cherry one I have is amazing though. Nice and smooth, and tastes of real, fresh cherries :awesome:

Aw fair enough
Oh wow thats bad! Yikes! What on earth did they put in it!
I can imagine!
Ah that sounds much better! That ones where its at
Imagine not drinking in 2016😭😭

What do you usually drink?
Ah fair enough, that's a good amount I'd say. Why that amount per month though?

Gin usually but I like most drinks. I just don't really go out drinking and whatnot when I'm at uni, but I always see friends and get drunk when I visit home, which is about once a month. It suits me well as I love getting drunk but doing it regularly is tiring and expensive.
Yes, drinking some whiskey now.

Ah I see, best to focus on studies there and save the fun for home.
All makes sense now then
What's appeal for you? I don't see the point in it!
Yeah I can imagine
I wouldn't drink for the sake of drinking. Only ever socially, at parties etc. etc., I don't like to get pissed out of my mind so I usually just have a few.
