Looking for jobs and I have a police caution.

About 7 months ago I was arrested and spent a night in the cell for possession and intent to supply of class A drugs. Honestly the quantity of drugs I had was far less and mostly for personal use but anyway the police gave me a caution stating "intent to supply". Since then I have re-evaluated my life and stopped abusing drugs and changed my circle of friends. I am actively looking for jobs but I am not sure if the police caution I received will be in my way? I do not have any other records.

It depends what jobs. Stay clear of jobs that require a DBS check, ie working with children or vulnerable adults, because it will probably show up on an enhanced DBS, or even a straight DBS and 'intent to supply' is usually taken to be serious, however you personally regard it. Jobs that don't require a DBS check won't know unless you tell them.
Hi there,

It's really nice to hear you have changed your life around since then, well done for doing that!

Here's some articles that might help you out. They discuss your rights at work and what employers are, and are not, allowed to ask about you.

The above person is correct, where is does depend what type of job you are applying for as well. I hope these help!
