Igcse subjects for oxford medical school

I am planning planning to take chemistry hl and bio hl at Ib. Do i need to take physics at igcse, and would it be beneficial to take chemistry additionally to bio in order toget into oxford?

Chemistry and Biology would be necessary. Physics would be recommended

I read somewhere that if you are not continuing a science for ib, that you are required to take it for the igcse. Is it true?

Quite honestly I am taking IB without taking the IGCSEs so I do not know.

However since for the BMAT you need physics knowledge that is up to the level of IGCSEs it would definitely be beneficial to do triple science in IGCSEs.
