Which degree is more respected and useful? I am interested in both and just can't decide which one to apply for.

They're considered pretty much equally. Think more about what you want to do with it and do some digging into the course materials of each degree to decide which one you're more interested in.

As above, they're considered more or less the same - and at some universities, the differences between the courses are only in name anyway (or very frequently they're offered together as a single degree).

In any case, in terms of "prestige" they're the same. In terms of content they may vary, as above, so consider your interests and follow those, as that's more likely to improve your results and final classification, which will make more of a difference than you degree name (or even, in most cases, content).
