If you're concerned about the strictness of telematics insurance, you should probably look elsewhere.

I've had Ingenie for 10 months and they are quite lenient. I occasionally hit 65-70mph when overtaking on single carriageways and I still receive 'okay' speed messages. They only really care when you're consistently driving +10mph over the speed limit, but they still won't cancel, you'll just get **** feedback and maybe lose a discount.

Ive been with ingenie for my first year. They're fine and quite lenient. I'd occasionally speed i.e catch myself doing 70 - 75 on motorways ( or 82 at one point to overtake a car), and my speeding feedback has always been on green.

Ingenie black box works on averages. So it looks at how you're driving most of the time. Only problem ive had was the cornering. For some-reason on that one, i could never get any higher than amber.
