There are 644 boys and 520 girls in a school
the probability that a boy chosen at random studies french is 3/7
the probability that a girl chosen at random studies french 5/8

A) work out the number of students in the school who study french?

B) what is the probability as a fractio that a student chosen at random from the whole school does not study french ?


Can anyone help i have attempted but cant manage to find the answer

always draw a tree diagram Nd you will see all the answers automatically that's what I do with all the probability questions and they always work
