No General Engineering at Bristol??

So on the Top university table Bristol is 1st for general engineering but I can't find a general engineering course at bristol.

Certainly not the first time I have heard of a university being on the tables for a subject it doesn't offer. Maybe all the engineering courses start off general in the first year or two and offer specialism after that? Have you looked into the course structure(s)?

I would hazard that their Engineering Mathematics or Engineering Design courses come under General Engineering, this would also explain why Imperial is on the list.

edit: looking at the unistats results for Engineering Design at Bristol, that's exactly what's happening

Yep, they are topping that league largely due to grad prospects. And according to Unistats it's from a survey of just 15 students. Ditto for Student Satisfaction...

And it looks like Unistats is classing Engineering Maths under Maths not Engineering.
