Please recommend primary schools in Glasgow for 8 year old with hearing loss!

I am an international student coming to Glasgow in September 2020 to study for 2 years. Can my 8 year old with hearing loss attend mainstream primary school in Glasgow? He uses bilateral cochlear implants, are there audiology and speech therapy services in the school? What schools would you recommend in East Renfrewshire area? He is currently attending a mainstream school.

Your 8yo can definitely attend mainstream school in the UK.

He should be able to access speech therapy services in some way- but he may need to be assessed before a support plan is put in place, so he may not get these straight away when he starts school unfortunately.

I'd try mumsnet for local school recommendations.
