I sent my application off in November and only just recieved my offer, just waiting for one more reply then going to firm Sussex! anyone else studying Psychology? also I'm stressing about accommodation, I know east slope is supposed to be the worst but best social place, I want to live somewhere thats really sociable but maybe not as scabby as east slope, any recommendations?
I went to the applicant open day last Saturday, and my favourite was Lewes Courts. There are two phases; Phase 1 has shared bathrooms and Phase 2 has ensuites. I personally would go for Phase 1 as then you actually get out the room and socialise with your flatmates. I spoke to quite a lot of people who said that Lewes court was really sociable, especially phase 1, and its quite near east slope so you can go to their parties as well.
What accommodation are you thinking of putting down? I'm so confused!
I'm confused too! I've been advised to consider between Swanborough and Northfeild but I'm still so confused because the rooms in brighthelm look much nicer and bigger. But I personally want ensuite (and price is not an issue for me so the cost is not much of a factor) so I really reeaally don't know where I'd like to go lol. How about yourself?

When I went to the open day, everyone told me that the accommodation with ensuite tended to be less sociable than the other accommodation. Northfield does look so nice but when I went there the people said that they are viewed as quite snobby. I quite liked lewes court, the rooms are quite big and the kitchen is quite big aswell, and they are near east slope so you can just go to to all their parties
I'm in the same boat too, submitted my UCAS at the end of November for Psychology with Neuroscience and I haven't heard anything yet- and it's the only one I'm waiting for too ESPECIALLY when I want to firm it
