Anyone sorely displeased with the time requirements for higher level education? Undergrad .. masters ... phd ... fellow ... ... professor.

All in all it's similar to starting high-school for the second time, tapping away at the course year by year.

Oxbridge people typically find it easy to find a transfer to another uni if they fail first or second year, and if you've passed first and second year well you won't fail the third year! So no need for any special plan. Don't know about peeps at other unis.
