My name is Amy. It's ridiculously common (there were 4 other girls in my year with the name Amy) and you can't really get a nickname out of it. That being said, I don't hate my name and I wouldn't change it, I'm too used to it.

It means "beloved" in French as far as I am aware, which is a nice meaning

However I also have one of the most common filler middle names which overall makes my name pretty boring! Good thing my last name isn't very common.

I don't mind my first name.
I HATE my middle and surname though. They both make me feel a little bit sick inside at the thought.

Same :frown:

I got burdened with 3 middle names, being a first child I have both grandmas names and my great aunts - these are like marjorie and barabara lol

I also have a double surname, cos my parents aren't married... selfish really - what if I had kids with someones would I give the kid a triple word surname? And what about them you know?

My first name is also really long and unknown (guess they wanted it to be 'different') so I shorten it, but all my names are on my credit card and stuff.

Sad that it's so hard to change names :frown: and they'll always be on your birth certificate i think.

I hated it when I was a kid because I grew up in America and noone could pronounce it... I was really happy when I moved here and discovered its a really common name in Britain so nobody has ever mispronounced it or said it was a weird name

Yes! I like the fact that I've never met someone with the same name as me

Yeah I love it!

"Little king"
Mine's Gareth.

Odd that I have a Welsh name, yet I'm Irish.

I don't like my name at all.

That's what my sisters name means lol - Ciara, are you called Kieran or something?

Yep Kieran and wow you got it spelt right! :eek3: (my friends and teachers all spell it wrong usually)

Coralie is pretty sweet...
Although I have been called 'shell girl' before which was stupid and annoying. Damn them!

There are also lots of French porn stars called Coralie! Yay!

I dont mind my name really (Laura) but when I was younger it seemed to be very popular, there were about 5 in my class - don't know all that many now.

I like my name, but lots of people I know have it so it gets a bit boring. (Emily - a name my two best friends also have :p:)

That's not too bad; there were 7 in my year with my name!
I like it a lot. An ancient Persian name, very nice

I don't really like the fact that people tend to mispronounce it, but I correct them, so all is well :h:

I think mines okay.. Adelaide, even though its like a old style name...

I love that name! :yep:

Mine is so common that at one point on my school bus, there were 6 people including me with the same name, all in consecutive years of my school. My surname is uncommon unless you're in a particular part of Ireland, but I'd much rather I had my Mum's maiden name (Heren) as that particular spelling is extremely uncommon and very German-Jewish

EDIT: I also hate both my middle names...my parents just found the ugliest names on the family tree and thought "yeahhh..."

Wow, your name is awesome. o:

I hate my name.
Jennifer Ann.
It's awful and thank to JLo, I have a lot of people asking me if i'm from 'the block'. Today in Media, my teacher called me Jenni from the block, and one of the boys said 'Haha! Jenni from the cul-de-sac!' :frown:
I like mine (Sadie) but dont get me started on my middle name :P

I don't mind my first name, don't have a middle name and my last name is ok. I didn't want to change my name when I got married so I kept my name.

I like mine, (Shanti-Grace) but tbh honest the hyphen is far too much! Just Shanti is great though, kinda unique but I wish 'Shants' (what my family call me) didn't rhyme with pants! :P

Oh, and I have three middle names which is too many for anyone!! My parents are weird!
