Cant get my head around this question.

Notwithstanding that a pregnant woman may have an abnormality of mind, whether pregnancy can be regarded as arising from any of the causes stated in parenthesis in section 2 of the Homicide Act 1957.

It means the bit in brackets, so:

(whether arising from a condition of arrested or retarded development of mind or any inherent causes or induced by disease or injury)

Yeah thanks, it does help. But any thoughts on how to deal with the question? I know its related to the defence of diminished responsibility.
