I've applied for the full time Archaeology BA starting in October. I'll let you all know the outcome.

As for the discussion about age, I'm 23.

Thank you!
I've read a few threads saying similar things, so it shouldn't be too terrible!

I'm either doing Economics and Business or Finanical Economics!

What made you go for Financial Economics?

Hi guys,

I'll be doing my masters of research in International Business at Birkbeck this October, one year, full-time.
Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Cheers

I have no idea! I know there's a Student Central (used to be UoL Union/ULU) freshers daytime event, though.

There is a Birkbeck Freshers' Fayre on the 25th september 2014 between 16:30-20:00 so hopefully we get to see some of the younger students there.

I'm studying Financial Economics with Accounting and now i'm starting to think ill be the youngest one there :s-smilie: im only 18
By the sounds of things looks like there is little to no social aspect to birkbeck and can only hope to make friends outside of the university

Exactly, I don't know anyone in London and it'll really suck if I don't make friends at uni... Also there are lots of events going on for freshers at other unis, I dont wanna miss that at BBK.

They did say that more full time undergraduates have applied this year to birkbeck than any previous year so hopefully we have a nice big group 😬
